Scandic Markets ApS of SGCI Group Enters into Frame Agreement for the Listing of Companies on the Cyprus Stock Exchange
Nicosia, Cyprus - SGCI is pleased to announce, that it has entered into a frame agreement with the Cypriotic lawfirm, LLPO, through our affiliate, the Danish company Scandic Markets ApS.
LLPO is an officially Nominated Advisor for the Cyprus Stock Exchange, and together with Scandic Markets, work under the official tradename "Scandic Markets" in Cyprus. Together with LLPO, we will act as the listing sponsor for the purpose of listing entities on the Emerging Companies Market, Cyprus Stock Exchange.
"I'm pleased to have entered into this frame agreement with LLPO, as it provides the possibility for our investments to become listed on a respected stock exchange within the European Union. This will make it possible for the investments to raise capital, so they can take full advantage of their market potential" says Mr. DS Chang, President and CEO of SGCI.
The Cyprus Stock Exchange is quickly becoming the region’s leading specialist securities exchange and gateway to the EU capital market for small cap and non-European issuers. With a strong focus on niche markets, the CSE is steadily making a name for itself as an enticing and credible EU listing jurisdiction and provider of high-quality ancillary services. The benefits of the improving economic climate and the increase of business activities in Cyprus have also filtered into the CSE, attracting serious international investor interest. Growth in specific sectors of the economy, such as banking – which has seen significant foreign investment from the private sector – has instilled strong confidence in the market and created new opportunities for the future. As an EU-regulated and recognised exchange, being listed on the CSE provides a better fund profile and credibility to investors.
